April Grace Lowe and Craig Jessen's creative partnership began in theater. From 2006 to 2013 they produced new plays, Shakespeare, and American classics on stages in New York, Oregon, and Los Angeles. In 2014 they pivoted to film production, and have since completed three feature films with a fourth in post-production.
April Grace Lowe
April is an actor, writer, and producer. A Los Angeles native with a BFA in performance from Southern Oregon University, she has worked across theater, film, voice-over, and audiobook narration. Her work with Doubtless Dreamers includes producing A Promise of Time Travel, writing, directing, producing, and starring in Confessions of a Romance Narrator, and co-writing and producing Beyond Methuselah.
Craig Jessen
Craig is a writer and director whose work finds dark humor and emotional tenderness in unexpected places. Alongside his films, his plays have been produced across the country, and his directing work has ranged from Shakespeare and new plays to symphony collaborations. He also teaches playwriting, directing, and script analysis in Southern Oregon University's Master of Theatre Studies program.
